Twenty 4-H members were present Feb. 16 as the Collins Clippers held their meeting. President Fisher called the meeting to order at 3:07 p.m. Secretary pro-tem, Stephanie Struthers, held roll call to “your favorite winter activity.” Sledding and snowball fights were popular answers. Andrew Tschantz led us in the pledge of allegiance. Treasurer’s report was given by Jonathan Struthers. There were several items of new business, presented by leader Dave Struthers. Jonathan Struthers moved, and Alex Fisher seconded, that our club provide $200 to Story County Extension to sponsor two of their upcoming workshops. Motion carried unanimously. The 4-H pledge was led by Jacob Struthers. Jonathan Struthers gave a presentation on the production and care of rabbits, Jacob Struthers on “Mala Art,” and Brenna Thomson on “George Washington.” We adjourned for refreshments, provided by Brenna and the Struthers brothers.
