Cliff and Claudia Dalbey and Mort Dodd recently returned from a 21-day tour of Australia and New Zealand. They discovered the beauty and vastness of the area and experienced 11 flights in those 20 days. Some of the highlights were, Ayers Rock, Melbourne, Sydney Opera House, visiting with all the local people, Christchurch, Mt. Cook (the tallest peak in the country of New Zealand) and Milford Sound.
The schools hold around 20 or 30 students, otherwise, the students do their work on the Internet, or planes fly homework to the students’ homes, because it’s so far to travel to schools (we are blessed in the USA).
Gas is $9 a gallon, and waitresses earn around $23 an hour. They traveled in a group of 37 people and enjoyed each other’s company, while having the best sightseeing tour you could ever imagine!
