Elkhart Women’s Club holds meeting

The Elkhart Women’s Club met March 14, 2 p.m., at the Elkhart Christian Church. The meeting was called to order by Sue Owen, vice president of the club. Roll call was answered by sharing a memory about the month of March.

It was an array of memories - everything from the girls’ basketball tournament to kite flying! March birthdays were remembered and special events that bless each family.

New business centered around discussion of purchasing a bench for the city of Elkhart in honor of the upcoming 100th year that the Elkhart Women’s Club has been meeting. We will continue that discussion at our next meeting on June 13.

The program was a fun game of Pictionary before a delicious chocolate cake was served.
