Experience a scatacular time learning and laughing about the incredible world of waste at the 2013 Halloween Hike! Join Story County Conservation for “Everybody Does It!” on Saturday, Oct. 19 at McFarland Park (56461 180th St.) northeast of Ames.
Scat, poop, manure, dung, doo doo. No matter what you call it, everyone does it. Become a scatologist – identify creatures by what they left behind – some of which isn’t poo at all. We promise this Halloween Hike won’t stink!
“For the last 28 years, Story County Conservation’s annual Halloween Hike has educated and entertained the community about Iowa’s wildlife,” Naturalist Heather Hucka said. “Don’t miss out on this year’s hike “Everybody Does It!” You never know what you will meet on the trial.”
