School board elections will be held Sept. 10, and paperwork has already been submitted by individuals interested in running for a spot on their local school board.
In the Ballard School District, redistricting has altered the director districts. Current school board member Tim Erickson will be running for a two-year term in District 1. Sara Hillebrand will be running for the District 2 seat, which will also be a two-year term. Current board member David Jackson will be seeking re-election for a four-year term in the District 3 seat. Jean Saveraid, also a current board member, will be running for re-election to the at-large seat for a four-year term. The second at-large seat candidate is Kirk Peterson, seeking election for a two-year term.
In the Collins-Maxwell School District, current board member Lowell Crouse is seeking re-election for a four-year term in District 1. Justin Boege will be seeking a four-year term for an at-large seat.
In the North Polk School District, three seats will be on the ballot. Current directors Brett Bruggeman, Diane Lackore and Gary Reinhart are all seeking re-election to the board. Jason Koth is also seeking one of those three seats on the board. All director seats are at-large in the district.
