Cambridge Police Reports for June

6/5: Officer took a report of a car vs. deer accident near 595th and 305th. A Cambridge man was travelling east when he struck a deer, causing approximately $3,200 in damage. No injuries. Officer took a report from a business at the 300 block of Water Street of a bad check. Numerous attempts to contact the individual who had written the checks from a closed account were unsuccessful. An arrest warrant was file for theft 5th.

6/28: Officer responded to a report of several juveniles who had fallen into the river and needed help getting out. All were brought back to the river bank with no injuries.

Huxley officers had two arrests for the month. Both were for theft 5th. Officers issued five citations for traffic offenses and gave fourteen warnings. Officers took nine calls for service and had a total of 62 contacts for the month. Officers had 4.25 hours of investigations, providing assistance or giving information and had 103.5 hours of general patrol.
