Collins-Maxwell High School held its Dance Marathon on Friday, March 7, with 62 students attending the event. The marathon helped to raise $1,819 for the University of Iowa Children’s Hospital through the Children’s Miracle Network.

Four members of the Iowa State Dance Marathon Team attended the event and taught a “morale dance” to all the students at 7 p.m. The morale dance was then repeated every hour until midnight.

Lots of snacks and sugary drinks helped keep everyone on their toes. It was a great time and students were happy with the amount of money they were able to donate to the Children’s Miracle Network.
