10/5: Officer responded to a car versus deer accident on 560th near 310th. A Cambridge man struck a deer, causing damage to his truck. No injuries.

10/7: Officer responded to Ballard East for a report of an assault that took place on the playground. A 10-year-old Ballard student was referred into Juvenile Court for assault after contact was made with parents of all the students involved.

10/13: Officer took a report of a dog bite at the 500 block of Sycamore. The dog had bitten its adult owner and was up to date with shots.

10/16: Officer served two arrest warrants at the 100 block of South River Street.

10/19: Officer responded to a complaint of Criminal Mischief and Trespass at a residence on the 100 block of Sycamore. A vehicle parked in the driveway overnight had the tires damaged. A suspect has been developed and interviewed so far. Ongoing.

Huxley officers had two arrests for the month, one for a warrant and another for assault. Officers issued seven citations for traffic offenses and gave 12 warnings for various others. Officers had 30 calls for information or assistance and 76 total contacts for the month. Officers had 9.5 hours of investigations, answering calls, or giving assistance and 80.25 hours of patrol.
