Cleanup day

City wide cleanup day will be April 26, starting at 7 a.m. and ending at noon, unless the dumpsters fill up before that. The city will try their best to bring in more dumpsters if needed, but can’t guarantee that, so city residents should plan on getting there early.

Also, please be ready to unload your own vehicles. City crews will be on hand to access charges, if there are any, for certain items; to turn away items and direct the residents to the correct dumpsters — but they are NOT there to unload the vehicle for the resident.

Items NOT allowed include: cans of paint, batteries and propane tanks. Chargeable items include: appliances, TVs and grills. All will be $20 each.

And please remember, this is only for Maxwell city residents.
