Jim Mowrer, an Iraq war veteran and former senior Pentagon official, officially became a candidate for the 4th congressional district of Iowa last Friday, March 14. He turned in his petitions of nomination.

“I am excited and humbled by the outpouring of support that we have seen all over the district,” said Mowrer. “The people of district 4 understand the need to change the way congress works. That is evident by the dozens of volunteers that circulated petitions and the hundreds of voters that signed them.”

The Mowrer for Iowa campaign turned in over 2000 signatures to the Iowa Secretary of State’s office today. Over 100 volunteers circulated petitions.
