Eugene Bryant, 78, of Sheldahl, passed away February 26, 2014. Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 8 at Slater United Methodist Church. Burial of the cremated remains will be at a later date.

Eugene Jay Bryant was born March 31, 1935 to Jesse and Minnie (Burkey) Bryant in Des Moines, Iowa, the day of their 7th wedding anniversary. Eugene was employed by Iowa State University for 43 years.

Eugene is survived by his sister, Maurine Bryant, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and an infant sister.
