Michael Wes Miller

Michael Wes Miller was accompanied by loved ones as he passed away on March 7, 2104, from complications due to pneumonia.

Mike was born to Ronald and Joyce Miller on May 13, 1955. He was raised in Slater, where he played football and was the prom king in high school. After graduation, he moved to Utah, where he stayed until he passed. He devoted the majority of his time to the construction trades and owned multiple businesses. Many of his employees have expressed that he was “the funniest and coolest boss they had ever worked for.” Mike was the type of person that would help anyone in need, and some of his greatest friends were made when they were in need and he was there to lend a hand.

Mike enjoyed just about any activity that had to do with being outdoors, including golf, fishing, boating and summer barbecues. He loved the neighborhood kids and even sponsored a 3-on-3 basketball team for many years. His fun and charismatic personality influenced many people and the memories of him will undoubtedly continue to provide laughs and smiles for many years to come.

He is preceded in death by his father, Ronald Dean Miller. He is survived by many family members, including Joyce Miller, mother; Randy Miller, brother; four step-sons, Chris Cox, Randy Cox, Steve Cox, Mike Cox; and 9 step-grandchildren that loved him very much.

Mike will be buried in Slater next to family. A Celebration of Life will be held in the near future.
