Drive safely; it’s spring

As the weather is warming up, drivers need to be aware. There are people out jogging, bicycling and motorcycles are out. Some of these joggers are out before the sun comes up and after it sets. Walkers and joggers need to wear light-colored clothes or reflective clothing. Drivers need to slow down and look ahead, scan the roadway. That means checking side roads, driveways… look, look and look again before pulling out. Drivers need to put the cell phones down and drive.

Above all, always wear your seatbelt. Anyone in the front seat has to be buckled up. Anyone under 18 must be buckled up anywhere in the vehicle. Seatbelts do save lives.
