CMB girls drop opener to PCM

MAXWELL – The Collins-Maxwell-Baxter girls’ soccer team came up short against Prairie City-Monroe in its season opener April 4 as the Raiders dropped a 5-2 decision in Maxwell.

Freshman Cassandra Bianchi and sophomore Taylor Dulaney each netted a goal for CMB in a losing effort. Dulaney had four shots and Bianchi fired off three for the Raiders.

Kandance Breckenridge made eight saves at keeper for CMB in the loss.

Krisha Housman netted two goals, Jennafer Uitermarkt tallied one goal and assist apiece and Jessica Albright and Damika DeVore each scored one unassisted goal for PCM. Mustang keeper Taylor Davenport made seven saves.
